We focus primarily on the Malaysian chocolate industry, where the country is positioning itself as a regional hub. Malaysia is already a major player across the chocolate value chain — from processing to distribution and retail — with the exception of cocoa bean production. The supply side is well developed, while demand is expanding and has considerable room to grow. At the same time, Malaysia serves as a strong starting point for brands to reach nearby Southeast Asian markets such as Singapore, making it both a gateway and a growth market in its own right. While chocolate remains our core focus, we also consider adjacent sectors such as tea, coffee, and drinking chocolate, which complement and intersect with the broader consumer landscape.
